About

About COR

COR is a private jeweler based in Los Angeles specializing in couture jewelry, important diamonds, super gems, vintage timepieces, and rare estate jewelry. It is a husband and wife team made up of COR and wife Pyari.

For the past 12 years, COR has been a designer’s designer working with many prestigious brands and retailers in the jewelry industry including Martin Katz, Neil Lane, Jack Kelege, and Gregg Ruth & Co.

This time has allowed him to not only hone and refine his sense of couture jewelry design, but also galvanize relationships with diamond sight holders, gem mines, and master craftsmen. He has closed and help broker several seven and six figure jewelry deals in various facets of the jewelry world.

“Fulfilling our client’s jewelry dreams is everything. My passion is using all of my artistic and strategic resources to provide the ultimate jewelry experience. The cherry on top is that we do it all at wholesale prices.” - COR

Never seeking attention, their pieces have surfaced in prestigious auction houses, finer retailers, and media publications. They also adorn members of the Forbes 50, celebrities, and jewelry lovers around the world. COR has also been a featured speaker at the Gemological Institute of America and several industry trade shows.

COR is a certified GJG, a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist with the Gemological Institute of America. He also holds a degree in Product Design from Carnegie Mellon University, with a focus in Fashion Design from Central Saint Martins in London. He also began his career as a bench jeweler at Sacco Designs in Maui.

All COR pieces are crafted locally in Los Angeles using conflict free gems from around the world.

+ More On Cor

COR still remembers the magic feeling during his first encounter with jewelry. He was six and loved to draw. Jack Kelege had just finished making a custom Leopard bangle for his mother and presented it with a hand painted watercolor rendering. Seeing the two pieces of art together, COR began to feel the power of how his drawings could one day become treasured keepsakes and family heirlooms.

After graduating from college with a degree in Product Design and a focus in Fashion Design, COR decided to try jewelry. His first job was apprenticing as a bench jeweler in Maui for Sacco Designs. Here he learned the fundamentals of goldsmithing under the tutelage of master craftsman.

Wanting a greater connection with he jewelry industry, COR next enrolled into the Gemological Institute of America. Mornings were spent in the gem labs researching the latest information about gems, diamonds, and minerals. Afternoons were spent in the Richard T Litticoat library studying design books by Harry Winston, JAR, and Cartier.

Still a student, his evenings were spent designing pieces of jewelry as his work began to impress several Los Angeles companies. He worked on special projects with jeweler to the stars Martin Katz, the design house Edwards and Rellas, and the esoteric Susan Foster.

In 2004 he became a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist, and took his skills to Gregg Ruth & Co working in production. Acquiring the skills to create, manage, and service a wholesale brand with the independent retailer customers, he steadily climbed the ladder to become Sales Manager.

COR is his latest venture affording him the opportunity to not only innovate his passion for jewelry design but also no customer care and experience.

+ More On Pyari

Pyari Nandwana joined COR in 2015 as a true jewelry insider to meet their client’s jewelry demand and to full fill their dream of becoming a full service concierge jeweler. Her networking, relationship skills, and taste are paramount to giving clients the full VIP experience.

“By putting our client’s desires first, we realize that fulfilling our client’s jewelry dreams does not always mean designing couture jewelry. It sometimes means sourcing a rare piece of estate jewelry, finding the perfect gifts for their staff, or repairing that bracelet right before a big event.” - PYARI

Pyari is a certified GJ, a Graduate Jeweler, with the Gemological Institute of America. She also holds a degree in Communication from Loyola University in Chicago with a focus of Art History at the University of Westminster in London. Her eclectic past shows success in not only the jewelry and watch industry but also international business and luxury skin care.
